An expert in Canada's domestic and foreign trade policy, Daniel has worked for major Canadian public relations firms, where he focused on government relations, crisis management, and the public positioning of corporations.

A proponent of free market principles, he is passionate about public policy and proudly dedicated to advancing the cause of freedom in Quebec and across Canada. His writings have appeared in publications such as The Globe and Mail, the Financial Post, La Presse+, and Le Journal de Montréal.

On October 23rd, IFL Toronto hosted an exclusive Networking & Dinner with Daniel Debow, former VP of Shopify and Chair of Build Canada. On September 17th, IFL Toronto hosted an exclusive Networking & Dinner with Joanna Baron. Joanna has led landmark constitutional challenges defending civil liberties and shaping national conversations on government accountability and individual rights.

On August 18th, IFL Toronto hosted an exclusive Networking & Dinner with Derek Szeto, Co-Founder of Walnut Insurance, for 20 of Canada’s brightest emerging leaders.

On July 23rd, the IFL Toronto hosted its third event, featuring
Daniel Eberhard, the Founder and CEO of KOHO.

Daniel is widely recognized as one of Canada’s most disruptive CEOs, taking on one of the most entrenched oligopolies in the world: the Canadian banking system. Koho has raised ~$500 million, surpassed 2 million unique users, and grown its team to 250 employees.
